If you want to work with someone who takes a realistic, science based approach to strength training, fitness and nutrition, then Jim is for you. I’ve been working with Jim at Silver Bee now for about 6 weeks on strength training and body recomposition and in that time have lost 9lb in fat and increased my lean mass by a couple of KG, not to mention a huge increase in strength and fitness. Jim is a great listener and works really closely with you to provide a workable and realistic plan which is easy to follow but helps you meet your personal goals in a way which works into your life and commitments. My Journey

• Having completed a Sport Science degree, I found myself overweight and lacking direction.  I found work in finance, and jumped with both feet into a life of distance running and strict diet. I ultimately dropped over 3 stone; however this was not a sustainable or enjoyable way for me to live. It has taken me some time, and a lot of missed steps, to finally settle on what works for me. I have also come to realise the two-way relationship between physical and mental health. That has been my motivation for becoming a qualified (and insured) Personal Trainer. I now help people find their happy medium, targeting positive and sustainable lifestyle changes that get results.
• I have also witnessed the struggles of those around me, both reaching their goals and then finding a way to maintain them longer term without compromising their own happiness or that of those around them. With a wealth of fitness and training experience, I am now looking to apply my knowledge and experience to empower and enable others with their health goals. 
• Sound health advice is just the start. I recognise that my clients often need support in motivation, overcoming self doubt, breaking bad habits, creating more positive behavior patterns, and taking accountability.
