I take a whole-picture approach, recognising that an effective plan needs to work alongside your other commitments and be flexible for when life’s everyday hurdles arise.
Lifestyle changes should be positive, not leave you feeling like you are always cutting out enjoyment, or having to work it off afterwards.
There is no such thing as a ‘typical’ client, so there shouldn’t be a standard plan either.

Jim is a brilliant PT. I am very over weight and in my 40s. I contacted Jim because I wanted to improve my fitness and flexibility. Jim came to my home as I was not comfortable going to the gym. I had 2 sessions per week and we worked on flexibility, balance and strength. The sessions made a huge difference to me, both physically and mentally. My overall fitness level improved along with my mood and confidence. Jim pitched the sessions at just the right level adjusting as we went along. He pushed me just the right amount and was very careful to ensure I was comfortable with each excercise. I would massively recommend Jim, brilliant PT and all round really nice guy! 👍

I’ve been working with Jim at Silver Bee now for about 6 weeks on strength training and body recomposition and in that time have lost 9lb in fat and increased my lean mass by a couple of KG, not to mention a huge increase in strength and fitness. Jim is a great listener and works really closely with you to provide a workable and realistic plan which is easy to follow but helps you meet your personal goals in a way which works into your life and commitments. The thing I like the most about Jim is not only is he experienced in personal fitness himself, but he has a deep understanding of the science behind fitness, strength training and nutrition – and so his advice and plans as a PT are built on evidence and science.
Hitting a fatigue of yoyo dieting and having to lose the same stone many times over, I wanted a plan that would give lasting results. Jim has given me a programme that is tailored around my work and family commitments and helped me understand the triggers that become my undoing. Loving the new motivated me!
